I had LASIK surgery in February 2025. I booked my first appointment and was on the operating table the following week. I feel like a new person since my surgery. The staff were professional, welcoming, and very reassuring before the operation. A huge thank you to them; I highly recommend them! I had my vision correction surgery at Vision Future and I'm extremely satisfied! The staff is kind and reassuring, from the receptionists to the doctors. I was very nearsighted and astigmatic. During the initial examinations, we detected that my cornea was quite thick, but irregular (perhaps due to prolonged contact lens wear, or not). I was therefore advised to opt for PRK. I haven't regretted this decision at all! It tends to be scary, but I was told that it's actually even safer than LASIK. In my case, I only had one truly painful day (and even then, in my opinion, it was bearable pain, like a bad migraine. You can sleep to pass the time). I experienced significant light sensitivity on the second day. But by the fourth day, I could go out wearing protective goggles! My vision wasn't yet clear, but already much better than before, right from the operating room. By diligently applying the prescribed eye drops, my eyes were sensitive the rest of the time, but never painful. I experienced some discomfort in front of a screen for the first two months (I'm on one all day because of my...). (work). I recommend taking regular breaks, moistening the eyes, etc. At my 3-month checkup, my vision was assessed at 20/20! I can only repeat this life-changing procedure. You just have to go for it!

I absolutely had to leave a review for Vision Future because my experience was so positive and reassuring. ☺️ I came from Dijon because the hospital there had literally scared me about laser eye surgery for myopia. So I looked for another center, somewhat by chance, and after consulting two different clinics, I can honestly say: Vision Future is by far the best center in Lyon. I was seen by Mr. Romain, and he was the only professional who had such a humane, calm, and responsible approach. While others were pressuring me to have the surgery quickly, he was the only one to clearly tell me that there was no need to rush, that it was better to wait, check things out, and make sure everything was perfectly stable and correct before any procedure. This honesty is extremely reassuring and, unfortunately, all too rare. I am a very stressed, very anxious, very methodical person who asks a lot of questions. I was welcomed with patience, respect, and kindness, without ever feeling judged, patronized, or condescending. I received simple, honest answers, with logical facts, without sales pitches or empty promises. Exactly what I was looking for. Conversely, at another clinic (which I won't name), I asked many legitimate questions, but I received no clear answers, as if my inquiries were inconvenient. Mr. Romain was also the only one to notice, upon reviewing my results, that I double-letter spelling (sorry, I no longer remember the exact technical term used by the orthoptist). This crucial detail had not been noted elsewhere. This demonstrates how carefully the examinations are read and not rushed. The receptionists are also lovely: smiling, helpful, and reassuring. It's very rare that I feel so at ease so quickly, but from the moment I arrived, I sensed a healthy, humane, and professional atmosphere. I have a very good instinct with people, and here I genuinely felt confident. I should also mention that another clinic (which I won't name) really scared me by insisting heavily that PRK would be extremely painful and presenting intraocular lenses as a more "comfortable" solution, even though my myopia is mild. With hindsight and the clear explanations I received at Vision Future, this proposal seemed completely disproportionate and unsuitable for my case. Here, I finally encountered a reasoned, measured, and ethical approach, focused on the patient's best interests. I left that appointment relieved and at peace, with the feeling of having finally been listened to and protected, and not pressured into an irreversible decision. If you're looking for a reputable, ethical, and caring center that prioritizes your safety above all else, Vision Future is the obvious choice. A huge thank you to the entire team!
