There's a huge gap between the promise of "recruitment advice" and the reality of an application management system that seems entirely automated and dehumanized. My experience as a candidate spans a decade: I applied 10 years ago, 3 years ago, and again recently for Head of Sales positions. The result is invariably the same: systematic rejections, with completely inconsistent response times (ranging from 3 hours to a month). The most regrettable aspect is the impossibility of having any human interaction. The switchboard is unreachable, and the consultants don't follow up on LinkedIn connections or messages, even for a simple restatement of my motivation. For a recruitment agency, this lack of consideration and human connection is disappointing.
