A real lack of respect for candidates. We're contacted about a job offer, an interview is scheduled, and no one shows up. The consultant—whose name I won't mention—puts his mobile phone and landline on call filtering. We send an email, no response. At the very least, we let them know, because we might assume there's an unforeseen circumstance or a health issue. But no, he's very much at work, answering his colleagues when we call the switchboard, who are complicit in his behavior. This firm isn't humane towards candidates. We're just pawns to be used or discarded. People who have gone through this process have also been through it to find a job. It's very unpleasant to deal with firms or people like this. They forget that before being a candidate, there are human beings. I do not recommend this firm, and I too will be blocking all emails and calls from this company.
