So: very flash, beautiful and seemingly fantastically equipped with jars of snacks around the bar etc. Our experience however was that on both days the snacks were unavailable - removed due to other events requiring the space. So nothing to nibble on during the breaks. Equally our room had big glass windows and was absolutely freezing. Finally: the food. Day 1 was good, although all of us commented on the strange menu: if you choose (e.g.meat or fish) you expect one item of that, with some kind of veg/salad etc. We received lunchboxes that had (for meat-eaters: beef plus pate/ terrine and for pescatarians: fish with a side of fish.) That was it! Just a big board of protein overload with an ice cold hard bread roll. It was just weird. The quality of the food on day 2 was just AWFUL. It was cold and dry and no-one in our group finished - we suspect we were given the leftover boxes from day 1 as it was exactly the same meat+meat/fish+fish combo, except extra fishy and not in a good way :( . So for the price you pay I would say be cautious about what they tell you and don’t be fooled by the aesthetics of the place. Personally I would find somewhere else next time. All style and underwhelming substance.

Attended #ForumCFI on Media and Development from 11th to the 14th July 2023 talking about how to address challenges posed by information today. Very organised auditorium, workshop rooms, translation service and support staff. The Internet is also top notch.

Welcoming and clean event venue. The staff is friendly, the food and the drinks are great, and the rooms are cozy and comfortable. The Internet connection is strong and reliable. I can recommend to take a coffee with their knowledgeable barista, with whom I had a very pleasant conversation on coffee making and coffee in general.
